TESTIMONIALS

Quote from Parent at Woodstock Elementary School

My son’s Kindergarten class (at Woodstock Elementary) had the opportunity to have a volunteer from Junior Achievement visit his class a few times throughout the school year.  It was so funny- after the first JA visit-he came home and said “Mom, I think it is time for you to give my some chores around the house, I need to start earning money so I can buy “stuff”! “  It was the cutest thing, I had a good laugh, since this was coming out of the mouth of a five year old.  Thank you to Junior Achievement for your program, you apparently have made an impact on my child’s life.

Thanks again for letting me attend JA in a Day.  I was only there for a couple of hours as I had to be back for my team's iShine training, but, as always, it was very rewarding!!

I actually ran into one of the students, Anne, a few days later at Wal
-Mart.  She looked at me a couple of times and said "Hi Steve!"  I was shocked that she remembered me because I was not there for very long, but it shows that what we do really does leave a lasting impression.  Our students were also very excited for the halloween treats and Discover lunch boxes we were able to hand out and it was nice to overhear the teacher talk about how she uses her Discover Card and pays it off in full each month to get CBB!!
