PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

With another year under our belt, and another year of ubiquitous corporate belt-tightening behind us, I am grateful Junior Achievement was able to spend the past year working to help 70,000 young students throughout Utah discover the whys, hows, and wows of life's future opportunities in a free-market world.

Owing to the generosity of our corporate sponsors and the dedication of our volunteers, JA programs inspired these students to work hard, dream big, and aspire each day to grow up and go out in the world prepared to succeed, contribute, and lead a good life.

Moving forward, JA deeply appreciates all of you who share our goal of reaching and teaching every young student in Utah.  As you have witnessed for yourselves, supporting JA programs is a viable growth strategy for your company and a vital growth strategy for Utah's future economic well-being.

Which brings us back to JA's present goal to reach all the students in Utah, for the fact that this coming year alone tens of thousands of these young people will face severe financial and social woes.  They need JA programs. They need our programs and they need our role models.  If we can reach them now, we absolutely can positively affect their future and the world in which they will be responsible for creating.

Sincerely,

Philip Cofield
