- And our awards go to. . .Life Time Achievement Award was given to Allen Handy from KBER 101 / Citadel Communications. Allen has been a great supporter and volunteer of JA for many years.
Pin Decorating Contest Award was presented to Questar
Top Individual Bronze Pin Award was awarded to Lisa Lindsley from Zions Bank for raising $4,400.00.
Top Individual Silver Pin Award was awarded to Matt Wilcox from Zions Bank for raising $4,650.00.
Top Individual Gold Pin Award was awarded to Jane Ann Craig from Total Dental Administrators for raising $ 7,425.00.
Top Online Fundraising Award goes to Total Dental Administrators for raising $7118.00.
Top Team Award went to Jane Ann Craig, Debra Lombardo, Nikki Stucki, Logan Stucki & Nate Tooley from Total Dental Administrators for raising $7,495.00.
Top First Time Performance Award was presented to Best Buy for raising $12,500.00 in their first year.
Top Small Company Award went to Total Dental Administrators. TDA only has 8 employees and raised $8,115.00.
Third Place Bronze Pin Award for largest increase percentage went to Kennecott (Rio Tinto) with an increase of 41% from last year.
Second Place Silver Pin Award for largest increase percentage went to U.S. Bank with an increase of 51% from last year.
First Place Gold Pin Award for largest increase percentage went to WaMu (Washington Mutual) with an impressive 70% increase from last year.
Third Place Top Corporate Silver Pin Award was awarded to Wells Fargo raising $20,012.39.
Second Place Top Corporate Gold Pin Award went to Questar for raising $32,000.00 for the second year in a row.
First Place Top Corporate Platinum Pin Award was awarded to Zions Bank, who raised $50,952.57 and exceeded their company goal by almost $11,000.00
Above & Beyond Award was given to two companies this year:
Advanta Bank - who at one point wasn’t sure if they would have the time to participate, they not only participated but raised over $18,000 in a short time.
Qwest Pioneers – Teresa Lobato is a retired Qwest employee and heads up the fundraising efforts for Qwest Pioneers. One thing their group does is hold’s a golf tournament in the Spring each year and the proceeds are donated to the following JA Bowl-a-thon.
Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Melanie Allen from Rocky Mountain Power for all of her hard work throughout the years.
Rookie of the Year was awarded to Linda Ho from Zions Bank. Linda has spent countless hours at work and home to make sure her companies bowl-a-thon experience went off without a hitch.
