Thayne Robson ![]() Ralph Thayne Robson was the Executive Director of the Bureau of Economic & Business Research and a Professor and Management in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah. He taught at Harvard, UCLA and the University of Utah for over 40 years. Thayne worked in numerous national and state government positions including director of a cabinet level committee during the Johnson administration, and with the U.S. Department of State in Western Europe and the Middle East. He worked for the Brookings Institution and the Ford Foundation. He served on numerous boards and community organizations, leading his advice and support, and was an economic advisor to four Utah governors. Thayne considered service to his to his community a priority, exceeded only by his devotion to his family and his church. |
