Who We AreMark Howard, President, Sally Mae Bank  Mark Howard joined Sallie Mae in June 2005 to start an Industrial Bank. FDIC and Utah approvals of Sallie Mae Bank were received in October, and the Bank opened in November, 2005, with Mark serving as the President and CEO. Prior to Sallie Mae, Mark was the Chief Financial Officer at Volkswagen Bank and the Chief Operating Officer at BMW Bank. Mark holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University and is a Certified Public Accountant. His career includes 19 years in Arizona primarily working for “traditional” banks. |
